Hi, I’m Miki!
I’m 4’ 9 3/4” and basketball was my first love. Point guard, of course. I am a child of the 80’s, and a club kid of the early 90’s. I developed chronic pain starting at 18 yo which led me to acupuncture and Chinese Medicine a crazy 12 years later. After recovering, I never looked back. My dream since then has been to show people the possibilities of this medicine.
Meanwhile, as a long distance trail runner, I continue to be my own acupuncture experiment, healing and preventing injuries one needle, plaster, and herbal formula at a time.

A little of the story
SPASM Acupuncture is an acronym of the little acupuncture biz that I started over 13 years ago in the South Bay. “SouthBay Pain & Sports Medicine Acupuncture” to be exact. I thought the acronym was hilarious at the time. Today, I’m located a bit north of that south, but I stuck with the name. I still think it’s kinda funny.
